Application Notes
Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Experiments gave a band at approx 100 kDa in Human Liver lysateafter 1 μg/mL antibody staining. This band corresponds to the 90 kDa band reported inliterature (PMID: 10601332). This protein has a calculated MW of 76.0 kDa according toNP_005849. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

The A kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) are a group of structurally diverse proteins, which have the common function of binding to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and confining the holoenzyme to discrete locations within the cell. This antibody recognises a member of the AKAP family. The encoded protein is located in the nucleus during interphase and is distinctly redistributed during mitosis. This protein has a cell cycle-dependent interaction with the RII subunit of PKA.Synonyms: A-kinase anchor protein 8, A-kinase anchor protein 95 kDa, AKAP95
