- Background
- The Michel-17 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD83, a 45kDA type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD83 is expressed mainly on activated lymphocytes and mature dendritic cells and it plays a role in T cell development. The Michel-17 antibody does not induce an activation signal on dendritic or T cells.
