The 15.2 antibody reacts with the 85-110 kDa intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), a member of the Ig superfamily which acts as a ligand for the Lymphocyte Function-Associated Antigen-1 (LFA-1).
Purification
The monoclonal antibody was purified utilizing affinity chromatography. The endotoxin level is determined by LAL test to be less than 0.01 EU/μg of the protein.
The 10.1 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD64, a 75kDA type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is the high affinity receptor for IgG. CD64 is expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells and is involved in antibody-dependent cellular toxicity, cytokine release phagocytosis, and endocytosis. The 10.1 antibody is reported to recognize the EC3 epitope of CD64.
