This antibody recognises an extracellular region of CD79b.
Purification
Affinity chromatography on Protein A
Immunogen
Peptide corresponding to an extracellular region of CD79 beta. Spleen cells from immunised mouse were fused with cells of the mouse NS-1 myeloma cell line.
CD79b is a cell surface antigen expressed by B lymphocytes. The CD79b molecule (also known as Ig beta and B29) associates with CD79a to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex.Synonyms: B-Cell marker, B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta-chain, B-cell-specific glycoprotein B29, B29, IGB, Immunoglobulin-associated B29 protein
