Indirect Immunofluorescence (titer >1: 1,600) assay vs serotypes O157: H7, O20, O125, O55,O111 and K12. Direct Fluorescenceimmunoassay staining of target antigens in a permissive tissue culturesystem. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining. Enzymeamplification following reaction with FITC conjugate can also be accomplished utilizingenzyme-antibody conjugates specific to FITC.
Other applications not tested.
